Many Faced God
We
are what we make of ourselves. Parents, teachers and friends only shuffle
things a little bit. Although we may blame the situations and events and they
might have had an impact, but never so heavy to be shouldered upon. It’s us who
roll on states and circumstances, reacting our heart out while some don’t,
since they believe in a poker face conduct. Cool enough, it gets them smoothly
through worst of situations. There have been two distinct phrases in the market
lately. The most visible being “Fake it till you make it” and the more popular
being “Be what you are”. Self explanatory they might be, but fail safe they
aren't.
I wonder why. Watching motivational tutorials and TEDex sessions, we
groom ourselves into what the world would want. But life is not just one way of
living. It wants a mix of personalities. Every being has a hidden dual personality
disorder or so it should be. Knowing the right proportion and timing to put
down your ingredients for life is the artistic skill. Funny that I’d mention,
people re-enact conversations in their mind so as to find alternative dialogues
in order ensure better endings. No one’s perfect, I’ve heard. For every breath
you let out, there is possibly a better way you could have done that. And still
we strive for perfection, trying to blend our ways in the best of crowd, searching for the one flawless other half of
ours.
What if some finds satisfaction in these imperfections of self..
